A team from the Commission visited Amravati,
Maharashtra –in July, 2007 to study the situation of Child Malnutrition, Right to
Education, Child Labour and Child Health in the district and recommendations were
made to the State Government on the basis of its findings
-
A team from the Commission also visited Adilabad in June,
2008 to study the situation of Child Malnutrition. Recommendations were made to
the State Government on the basis of its findings.

A follow up visit to both Amaravati and Adilabad have been
made by two separate teams in the last week of November, 2008 and the report is
awaited.

Commission has also visited North East (Manipur) to study
the situation of HIV affected children in Manipur during 3rd to 10th September,
2008. Recommendations have been made to the State governments and as well as the
Ministry of DONER for taking appropriate measures.

to 6th December, 2008.
