  • The Commission visited Khammam District, Andhra Pradesh, and Dantewada in Chattisgarh in December, 2007 for studying the situation of children affected by hostilities/civil unrest and have recommended to the respective State Governments for taking appropriate measures. State governments have responded to the recommendations of the Commission. A follow up visit to Dantewada has also been made by a journalist deputed by the Commission. Further directions have been issued to the State Government for taking additional measures
  • Commission has also visited North East (Assam and Tripura) to study the situation of Internally Displaced Children in all the three states during 3rd to 10th September, 2008. Recommendations have been made to the State Governments and as well as the Ministry of DONER for taking appropriate measures
